The BOB Collective is a volunteer, creative team of queer youth and staff, looking to promote the content and mandate of the BOYOBOY zine.
Twice a year, the Collective assembles as a twelve-week workshop in downtown Toronto, meeting one evening a week. The workshop is open to all queer guys age 25 and under. Through research into current events, culture and history, art-based exploration and personal stories, film-screenings, guest speakers and field trips, discussion, games and exercises, the Collective looks to make sense of queer male youth identity, in Toronto and around the world.
The BOB Collective is facilitated by professional counsellors, artists and educators. However, leadership of the workshop is by the youth participants. Ultimately, the goal of the BOYOBOY Collective is to contribute to the content, production, promotion and distribution of the BOYOBOY zine.
